I'm in the middle of the diesel conversion and the VCT has not been installed yet. I didn't install the engine my self but I took over the project with the majority of parts installed, and the truck started fine to begin with. Starting issues have now been developing in the last few days and after reading read through the wiring diagram and finding out about the Voltage Converter Timer which is not installed (but still the truck started to begin with) I'm getting confused. Should the truck start at all? What are the effects of not having the VCT installed?
