I would think that a "restored" FJ55 would have better bumpers, mirrors, some carpeting and would be smog-legal...
(Real 'Mudders don't buy from vintage anyway)

Yeah, it definitely doesn't mean sold by Vintage.

So many things wrong with that truck for $36k.

He's got balls.

Trim falling off passenger inner door panel, center lower dash pad missing.

Probably more bondo than steel in the lower 1/4's.

That guy makes me so angry I want to kick a puppy. (not really)... But dammit!

Restored insinuates a return to a like new condition or OE form, to me, with quality indicated in the manner to achieve.

The last 55 that sold at even close to the same money was "restored", yet wasn't the correct color of any Pig, had an SBC/auto, nothing correct, and was half assed all the way through.

All has had me thinking about my own endeavors and valuation.

This seller (yes, I'm familiar with the rep) has either sold a few, or has inventory, because it's the second or third Pig I've seen them list this year.

Interesting color, does not look like a factory color offereing that I remember.

Is the driver front door ajar? Or is the fit that bad?

Pass side has a gap btwn the fender and front door that looks a little odd.

No rear bumper? No stereo what so ever?

What booster and master is in there?

Stuff like this makes me think my pig is worth at least 100 bucks!

Hey Pablo,

See where the front seat belt bolts up at. Seems there are more than a few, who go this route.

Good looking wagon, for sure, but I'd rather build one myself for that kind of money. Then you would know what's under the paint.
