eBay fender flares - Anyone here have any experience? (1 Viewer)

Just wondering if these flares are worth considering. Does anyone know if they are any good?

Pretty sure i ordered those a few years back. They did not line up with the fender flare mounting points and i believe the fronts did not match the body lines which was a big bummer. Maybe they were designed for 93-94.

All the 80s use the same flares; the differences in the year model assemblies are all in the fasteners, however, you can use any fastener combo you want to use - they all work for the flares.

I don't know what those cost, but the going rate for OEM is about $200, before shipping, unpainted and you need to add about $50 for fasteners, for each flare because you're not reusing any of the OEM fasteners.

The real problem child is the fender welting (gasket, whatever you want to call it). The OEM parts were color matched; they are NLA except for white, AFAIK.

there are a least 2 hole configurations on 80 series. 93/94 and 95+. Not sure about the 91/92 but the flares are different width wise.
