Easy way to remove mirror plastic parts? (2 Viewers)

I am getting my side mirrors professionally painted and will bringing them the parts as opposed to bringing them the vehicle. I found write-ups on removing the mirrors which includes removing door panels and disconnecting the electrical wires but is there an easier way to just remove the plastic enclosure parts surrounding the mirror? I figure I could just tape off the mirror components to keep them from swaying around and breaking while the plastic parts are separated. But I would really like to avoid both having to remove the entire mirror assembly and tearing the entire thing in order for the plastic enclosure parts to be separated.

Nevermind, I figured it out. I don't need to tear apart the door or mirror hing assembly to get the plastic parts off. 6 screws and they are separated.
