this may be common knowledge around here, but I took a shot on a product from cabelas, the HME hitch hoist ($135 with free two day shipping) as a way to remove my ARB RTT solo. My garage is too short and small for a ceiling hoist, I didn’t feel like building an elaborate A Frame thing, I have no trees in my yard, and very few willing to help with heavy things friends. This product swivels 360 degrees in the middle, so I was able to attach a recovery strap to the tent, slide it back under tension (which took most of the weight off of it), tilt it downward, and swing it around an slowly crank it down onto my daughters wagon for transport. I managed to pull this off with no damage to the truck or myself. I did cover my gate with thick blankets and two old carpet floor mats. I can’t say this is a perfect, flawless method, but the hitch hoist worked about as expected, my tent didn’t crash to the ground, the truck isnt effed up and I’m hernia free
