Well I'm putting the 3b back together (I got it already taken apart) and Im just wondering which way is right side up for the thermostat, can someone describe for me which way goes up?
Also, if anyone knows of anything strange I should watch out for or any tricks to know as I rebuild this thing. Right now the bottom end is assembled, head is on, h2o pump is on, timing gears are in, rockers adjusted (cold), injection pump bolted on. About to put the timing cover on and the oil pan then I guess mess with the intake and exhaust manifolds and turbo setup. Just going from a book, I have no pics of this thing comming apart...kinda scary.
