Im Looking to get a leaking at the boot steering rack replaced. Went to Lexus of Cherry Hill in NJ and they want $2800.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a good Indy shop or Lexus/Toyota dealership in NJ, PA, MD, VA or DE that will know how to do this right at non extortion rates? This is definitely not something I want to or can DIY and would want to take it to someone who knows what they are doing.

Thanks!

Dealership service departments don't have any specific knowledge of 100 series anymore, and they don't want to mess with your old out-of-warranty truck. That is why they quote stupid high prices. You either go away in shock, while not feeling like they blew you off, or you pay up $$$$, which makes them happy.

Find a good local mechanic. Avoid the dealerships.
