My blinkers decided to quit after I installed new front signal light assemblies (that should teach me!). So, I've spent most of the day looking for that ##)@#& signal flasher!! Anyone know where its located on a '70 FJ40? My so-called chassis manual from Toyota is no help whatsoever.

Thanks, Maintz

On my 68 one of the flashers is below the steering column behind the brake pedal, the other is right of the heater below the glove box on the firewall. Toyota replacements look like relays not the more typical round can style flasher. Early stock flashers were larger than most modern can type units.

I have a Toyota replacement type thats about a year old. Relay style with adapter harness. Cover shipping and it's yours. msmythe@iei.net for a reply.
