early cruiser to 70 series conversion

Pretty cute unit, and definitely more appealing that those FJ things they flog in N. America now. Toyota did "drop the ball" perhaps, though, as the world's number one automaker, they seem to know what they are doing. It's a shame that they never went further than 200 units. I guess all of them would have been RHD?

My first thought after looking at it was: though it's based on a 70 series, the parts availability for the unique bits on the truck is going to be slim indeed (well, can you say "unobtanium"?)

Ah excuse me but Toyota never made them. Handcrafted in the back alley of some Japanese panel and paint shop
