Ferris, also like to look further into the relocation of the charcoal canister. This is very much what I would like to do. Just need to figure out what I all need to extend and buy for that from back to the front. Do you happen to have that explained in an older thread?

Do i see it correct that for dropping the spare tire bracket and 12.5 LRA you would only have to undo the blue arrow marked bolt each side?

Good point, you helped jog my memory. Yes, that's the only bolt from the bumper that needs to be removed. However, the spare tire crossmember needs to be removed before you can back out that bolt, which is a little awkward because the small crossmember bolts that attach it to the brackets are only accessible from above the crossmember, so it helps to have a stubby ratchet. So yeah, you can leave the bumper in place with those other two bolts, but you still might want to loosen them just so it's easier to realign the removed bolt when you reinstall it.

Did you get the bumper black powder coated at a place which does like light alloy wheels perhaps?

I painted it myself as shown below, but the paint is certainly not as durable as powdercoat:

Really fantastic & stout rear bumper from E&E Off-Road (@turbo8). Test fit the pieces together, and it's clear these are made with extreme precision.

Determined which components were outward-facing and needed to be painted, then cleaned the aluminum and painted. Going to let dry for a couple days, then will install on Saturday.

SEM paint is self-etching / priming on aluminum.

If you don't absolutely need to relocate the canister, then I would avoid doing it. You've probably seen the various other threads about fuel boiling problems that sometimes occur, which is immediately preceded by a strong fuel smell emanating from the truck. That fuel smell comes from the output of the charcoal canister where it vents to the atmosphere... which if it does that in the engine bay then you suddenly have ridiculously strong fuel smell being pulled directly into the cab and making you nauseous. You can get around this by being clever in where you place the hose that vents to atmosphere, but it's something that's worth avoiding altogether if you can.

If you must relocate your canister, then I'm happy to finally do my write-up after all this time 😂

My thought process after taking over the 200 from my wife:
I’m keeping this one stock.
Add Kings.
Add tires.
Add rack.
Add drawers.
Add fridge.
Add seat jackers.
Add Husky liners.
Add SnapShades.
Add sliders.
That’s it. I’m not doing anything else.
*Add E&E bumper.
3 SPOTS LEFT!

Thanks, will keep it in the back. Perfect, do not need to learn this twice or do the work.

Would everyone like me to include this filler piece? The bumper is meant for up to 37" tires, the filler piece makes it look better for smaller tires.

Another vote for including the filler piece.

Well it looks like I’m in! The build is starting and this is a big piece of the puzzle for me. 2 spots left!
