My e-brake is siezed up on me and dealer is charging $450 to install new e-brake components.
What component do I need and is it DIY job?
Thanks for the reply in advance.

Real common and I just did it a few months ago. Here's what you'll need for a complete rebuild.

bellcrank- right and left
bellcrank mount- right and left
2 cable assemblies these are internal to the drum and go from the bellcrank to the actuating arm
2 sets of shoes
2 seta of associated pins and clips for above parts

not that pricey and not that hard to do. I tried cleaning the above parts first but that only lasted about a year and still didn't feel right.

Hey landtank,

you wouldn't happen to have part number for those do ya?

Sorry, me and paperwork just don't get along. C-Dan can help you with the parts and pricing :D.

Dan if you are unsure what I'm referring to maybe you could post one of those part jpegs and I could point them out.
