Some of you have told me that the m8000 will work in most situations on a 80 with lots of armer and an ARB.

cool but if an 8000 will work then a 9000 is better :D

So do you know if a dx9000 warn winch will fit and the winch mounting plate?
order from ARB?

i am pretty sure it hase to have a planetary mounting style from what i have hear all mile markers are planetary i am not sure about warn winches

The standard bottom mount winches by warn (planetary gear) will fit the ARBs. I weighed my truck today and it weighs 5600lbs with just me and a half tank of gas. 9000lbs should be the minimum for any cruiser, IMO.

Cheers

having the right bolt spacing is one thing, but more important I suppose is having the right winch external dimensions (no weird things projecting etc so they would indeed fit the space in the ARB).

(don't know how much spare room there is, would be good to know...)

9.5XP, XD 9000 or M8000 require fitting kit (spacers) to make it fit. The motor will hit the front of the bumper.
