Something that happened on this last field stint was excessive dust build-up on the coils inside my fridge. After about 1000 dusty miles in WY I noticed the freezer was running continuously. Initially I blamed the high temps, but out of curiosity I opened the panel and saw the components covered in dust. Blowing it out with the compressor worked as a solution in the field until I got home and could give it a proper clean.
Not sure if this is a weakness of a Dometic, or if ARB/Engel/NL/etc folks experience this too. I ordered some MERV 13 fabric I'll cut to fit over the vent, and I'll bring extras into the field to swap as necessary.
Thought I'd ask the community if this is a issue for others, and if folks have found a creative solution.
