JBA Upper Control Arms
Pure Power 240 Amp Alternator with upgraded charging leads (December 2019)
Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, radiator and hoses replaced at 119,000 miles in June 2017 (2 months and 2000 miles after I bought it)
Power steering flush with new reservoir just completed on 2/7/20.
New windshield installed 2/7/20.
Headlights professionally polished and sealed 2/7/20.
California/Texas truck prior to me buying it in April 2017 and bringing it home to Colorado, so it's rust free.
The only offroading this GX has seen are the mild forest roads here in SW Colorado.
ISSUES:
The window molding is breaking down. I had planned to order a set of black molding from a Prado and replacing it but haven't done it yet. I think the set of OEM parts is about $140.
There is an occasional vibration when braking at highway speeds. I've been told this is likely a sticky caliper or warped rotor. This is very occasional and doesn't affect driveability at all so I have not spent a lot of time chasing it down.
It needs new engine splash guards in both wheel wells.
The dash pad has 2 cracks just above and to the left of the glovebox (to the right of the AC vent). You can see them in the interior pic below if you zoom in.
It originally came with the towing package and is still wired for trailer lights (see undercarriage pics) but someone pilfered the hitch at some point. I've seen them available cheap/free many times but unfortunately not close enough to me that I could pick one up.
OPTIONAL ITEMS AVAILABLE:
set of four 4runner Trail wheels (nearly new condition)
set of four DBA rotors new in the box
Remainder of 5 year 60,000 mile exclusionary warranty (about 39k miles or 27 months remaining)
