Narrowing dually D60..Any ideas?

Can anyone tell me what parts are required to replace the dually offset hubs from a 79 K30 front end with parts to reduce the offset to 3/4 ton width?
I need to reduce the width of this front end if it is to fit under my 40. Any pics of D60 front ends with a spring over would be greatly appreciated. Pics of how the steering all ties together would also be helpful.

Thanks a million

Get yourself some non-dually, Dana 60 front hubs, and be done with it.

Good luck!

fit under your 40, well even single wheel chevy d60 is 69" wms to wms.

steering? custom,
SOA full width? outboarding spring perches,

Beyond that learn and research. little here but a good amount
on pirate.

sounds like your new to this, so research for good long while.

You could cut off the dually flange, turn it down smooth & redrill the tapped holes for wheel studs or just run H1 double beadlocks that have the standard 7" backspacing. Or, as noted above, just sell or trade them.

Thanks for the feedback. I hoped that I could simply unbolt the dually flange and replace it with stock parts from other models. Thanks for the info
