Will run the starter off of it, and maybe winch. Mostly just for more oomph for cold starts 😉
So not for a frig or aux lighting?
 
I'm in the same boat, been running two N70Z batteries in parallel for years with no controllers etc. Including running a waeco CFX50 fridge, but like Hulsty it would be unusual for me not to drive the car for more than 2 nights in a row, it hasn't ever been an issue.

Coldtaco, I have had a basic, commercial 12 Volt isolation switch, mounted in the BATTLE CRUISER's cabin.
If you want to use your Accessory battery, to run a fridge etc, you need to isolate this battery, from your Starter battery.
FYI, here is a basic image of my in-cabin switch set up, looks like.
