Drove home locked in 4th...NV4500..slave (1 Viewer)

Well, made it home from a bit of wheelin - 67 miles in 4th gear...thankful for the NV4500 and tons of torque.

The slave cylinder is peeing fluid so I am assuming that there is a seal that blew in the cylinder?

Read the archives and everyone seems to say replace both...master and slave.

I have a new slave - and a rebuild kit for the master...

Anything else I should know? Anything else I should buy? Are there stronger aftermarket kits?

You mounted the Toyota stock MC on the NV4500?

Yep -

worked great for about 67,000 miles

Yep, I guess...is there a seal in the slave?

I am just gonna take the slave out and replace it with the new one I have - It is tough to get at - the 350tbi exhaust pipe is 3" and beneath...oh well work around...
