Lately, when I start the Engine for the first time each day, it misses for a few seconds and then Idles fine at 890RPM.

But yesterday, I drove down the first street I braked and stepped on the Clutch the Engine Idled fine at 890RPM, but when I came to stop at the second street, it Idled at 1,100RPM. Now, I'm driving down a major road and get up to 65km/h and I stop at the Red Light and the Idle is fine at 900RPM, then I travel about 1km and get up to 60km/h, then I stop and the Engine Idles at 1,000RPM.
What would couse this? - The Engine has now done 1,8##km

A lot of people offered advice but were never given any finality:rolleyes:
Since that thread, I haven't been on a trip to guage its mileage.
With this current problem, I really should get my Farther to hassle the Engine Builder. - The Engine Builder pissed me off too much, over the Fuel Control Solenoid fiasco and the leaking Injectors.

Im not sure about the Hilux ,but the cruisers have a spring on the accelerator pedal that loses its torsion and doesnt return the pedal to its correct spot.

So next time see if pulling the pedal up helps.

Otherwise throttle it up by hand at the fuel pump and see if something is catching, maybe the spring is soft there too;)
