200 Landcruiser just started the timing tensioner tick while it is cold and goes away when warm. Also valve cover leak. The vehicles has 205,000 miles is it worth fixing or selling.

Also found out that the ATF fluid has never been changed still runs and shifts good should I drain and refill or leave it alone.

Those are not reason to sell the truck. Get them fixed. The tensioner is just a maintenance replacement part and should have been replaced already for a 205k truck. ATF the same.
The valve cover leak is easy. I hope it is the valve cover not the tower or valley leak.

The timing tensioner is a common issue in 5.7Ls and well known in Tundra circles.

A simple solution might be to try a heavier oil like 0W-30 or 5W-30. My preference is for the 0W-30 that stays closer to the factory cold start protection.

Truck is shot. I’ll come haul it away for you ;)

Seriously though you’re looking at reasonable maintenance items for 200k
