During my reupholster project I discovered a broken seat bracket on the driver’s side (right cheek, pin side). The welded rivets were sheared off probably from years of sliding the seat back and forth. Fixed it by drilling out and installing some bolts. Since our Cruisers have many common problems, I’m guessing there are other broken seat brackets out there. Could be a safety risk in the event of a crash so you might want to check it out.
