Would it make a diference If I switched my drivelines around so the slip-yoke is on the differential side or will this cause problems with drivability?

I purchased a used set of drivelines and just need the flange to the diff and am hoping that I don't have to have another set of drivelines lenthened/shortened.

Thanks,

Kevin

No.

Been done that way for years.

A lot of ford trucks, broncos, etc came that way from the factory. You just mean the splined portion right? You don't actually have a slip yoke do you?

The water crossing folks like the slip joint to drain while they’re waiting for their floor mats to dry 😂.

FWIW, Double cardan drive shafts are set up this way.
