Drive shaft came apart. Does it matter how I put it back together? (1 Viewer)

During removal of the trans/tcase, I accidently separated my rear drive shaft. There wasn't an easily visible key or mark for putting the 2 ends back together, so does the degree of rotation matter? I assume not but I thought I'd ask before bolting everything up.

Thanks

The ujoints and flanges need to be in the same orientation to each other. If not you will have a vibration.

And you should check the FSM for the proper orientation of the zerk fittings so that you don't have to remove the driveshaft to lube it.

Keep yokes in phase!

As noted above.
Use the FSM whenever a project is begun.
