Faced with the challenge of drilling a pair of 36" table legs for my on-going table saw project, I came up with a fixture to hold them square/perpendicular on my 17" HF drill press:

Clamping it to the drill press table with some Irwin clamps, then clamping the table leg to it:

I used a 10" long, 1/2" brad point drill bit, because the holes needed to be 6" deep to accommodate the leveling feet. This meant I had to raise the table once to get the full depth, as the quill stroke is only about 3".

Ran the brass inserts in, and installed the leveling feet:

Next step is to cut them to length, and fabricate the 'swing-away' mounts for them.
