That music is great, how do they get it to break loose icant do that in my truck. The guys last name in the credits is jassim:rolleyes:

Part-time 4wd.

i need that setup...muhahaha

Take the front driveshaft out and you'll have it. :D I ran my 100 home from Moab last year without the front driveshaft and even with it out, I couldn't break those 295 BFG's loose. There is obviously some serious HP increase on the 100 in that video. After driving Christo's 100 w/ a turbo, I'm not even sure that's enough to do that kind of drifting.

they have different tires on it. Probably the semi slick "balloon" sand dune tires they run. 295 BFGs are a heavy beast. As far as serious HP increase, thats not whats needed to break them loose, its TQ...and if you were to say make it RWD and put it in low range...there you go.

each time i see these videos, and i see them all the time.....it makes me want to go to Dubai for a month.

Actually, I don't think it takes much... side stepping the clutch at 5k RPM with an open rear differential (2wd mode) and you can smoke the tires. Once you have the initial traction break loose, it'll just keep on smoking. If that fails, inflate the rear tires up to 60-70 psi. I'm not saying that particular LC didn't have a lot of power, just that it doesn't take much.

the turbo on that Prado was SICK!

Good point, I didn't even think of the Low range option. That would definitely spin them easier. I don't want to know what that does to a set of tires after a few minutes of spinning like that.
