Am I right to assume that the plug with the divot in it is the drain plug (in order to catch metal shavings) and the fill plug has a flat end? Maybe it doesn't matter? I changed all of my fluids and they were all random. Some had the divoted plug in the drain, and some had it in the fill.

any reason that putting the magnet in both top and bottom would be bad? Just curious.

Which on is the magnet? The one with the flat end? It's too late for me to check now.

No, the one with the divot.
Otherwise, keep a metal part to it.....

no, it wouldn't be bad, it would actually be a good thing...
why doesn't Toyota do it? probably because there is 4 drains in each Land Cruiser so 4 X 100,000 units = a lot of money...but then that is just a guess
