Since I added power steering to my old cruiser, I thought it might be cool to downsize the diameter of my steering wheel. I would like to keep the replacement and original Toyota product. Does anyone have any idea of what other Toyota models would have a steering wheel with the same shaft diameter and splines? I could spend several hundred dollars and have my original wheel professionally cut down but I could use those dollars for some other upgrades.. Thanks and good wheeling........

what year steering column do you currently have ?

A buddy of mine is using a non-airbag equiped 80 series steering wheel. Those came on 90/91 FJ80's.

I think you'll find most toyota stuff is all splined the same, I put a corolla steering wheel on my truck, it bolted straight up and the horn striker lined up ok with a little bit of a tweake :hillbilly: :steer:

I have an FJ62 wheel in mine.

They also came on the 93/94 FZJ80. Those can be found in leather. I picked up one from a 94 years ago to use in mFJ45 pickup but decided to use the 81 and later wheel from a FJ40. Maybe I'll find a pre 95 80 series to use my leather wheel on.

The steering wheel and column are stock right not. Hey South Boston FJ. Cool wheel. Just what I am talking about. I will look for some older Toyota mini truck wheels and maybe one from an 80 series. Thanks for the input..
