I bought it from another mud member and it looks like it was run but not for long. As far as being a new or rebuilt box from Downey I don't know. I just decided to go a different route and did not install it.

Sorry you couldn't use it !, as I know you were deciding for different setup.

Just to help out: This setup was bought brand new (Downey rebuilt these pumps and there were worked in a way to function like the AGR pumps).

It was installed on my 79 and ran the truck two times around the block, before disamble it for paint. There's nothing wrong with it, I couldn't use it, because I went SBC and pushed the motor really close to Drivers side for better drivetrain alignment !

So, BUMP for a terrific guy and a good product !
