Dot Lights For 77/78

Hi Wayne.. I realize you have been busy with the new store. BUT I was just wondering how the dot tail lights were panning out for the 77, 78??
Any news, pictures yet??

no new store, i have decided to go with Retail with no storage since most of the units are sold long before they arrive and it just doesn't make finacial sense to outlay thousands when not needed. i have a friend outside the city for any units that are not sold.
the adapters are still where they were last week, i will post some shots up but remember this is the proto type, i was hoping to get them painted to show how they match up to the body lines...
this shows how the 70 series lights come close to fitting...

the adapter, i do not have pics of it on the truck yet but the fit is almost perfect. the units will be made out of fiberglass and will hav a dark grey gell coat to come close to factory look...

Thanks very much for the update.
From the pictures we can really see what gaps you had to overcome
with this mod.
Way to go Wayne looks like a job not far from being done, that will benifit the JDM 77 / 78
community..
Looking forward to the day I can Install them on my truck..

trust me, so am I. i have 9 sets to install on mine and my customers trucks as soon as they are ready...
also there is another 10 sets already ordered by gents as yourself.

i have scored an excellent price on the left and right lenses which will help off set the cost of the adapter.

yep, i will have the installed pics tomorrow, then i have to "lend" the proto type to a customer for his inspection in BC, shipped back and copied for mass production...
