Door ripped out holder hinge (1 Viewer)

So this is wierd, my left rear door holderopenercombobulator ripped out of my door! Then to kick me when I'm down, about a week later the door was tough to open and the glass shattered!

Can this be fixed? Photo attached
Why did it work the mettal so much it failed? No grease?

Rear Doors Tearing at Door Stops?

The :princess: said the DS rear door was making a weird clunk noise. Pictures to follow, but the metal around the door stop has torn through! Anyone else have this? WTF? Not sure how you fix this w/o replacing doors? This rig is a '99 w/ 167k, not worth finding and painting rear doors...

Yup seems to be a pretty common problem. Mine are ripping so I need to take care of soon!
