One other thing you may want to try is to use a heat gun gently on them while you're applying them. They can sometimes warp when being removed.

Long term, the best option is to weld up those holes and skip the trim altogether! :p

I'm about to order some of those for my vehicle, so I have been shopping around. Toyota is having a big sale right now, so you can get them for about 50% off, free shipping and no sales tax. I recommend Valdosta Toyota 31601. Or for overseas, Impex has the best price, but shipping can be a toss up. Also, since you pay in Yen, your credit card might charge you a foreign transaction fee. Mine charges me 3%.

how much would it be for all of them?

I went through the same experience with the ebay parts. They looked awesome visually but couldn't get them to stay put, especially once the summer sun kicked in. I tried additional 3m tape, adding glue to the clips, got violent with adhesive... in the end I pulled them all back off and just put strips of black vinyl wrap in their place until I decide what to do. I saw a guy on instagram found a different oem version (maybe for 105s?) that was black and thinner, like only filled the recessed portion on the body.

Impex is $423 before shipping. I would estimate about $150 for shipping and than add 3% on top of that. So about $590.

how much did it cost to weld the holes?
I would be shocked if you could find someone to weld all the holes and then someone to paint match the welds for less than OEM replacement moldings from Impex. I could be wrong though. Let us know what you find out.

will do. I just think my money would be better spent welding as opposed to oem mouldings. The welds look better and are a long term

And I have had some very heavy frame pieces shipped, along with the over sized lower cladding found on the LX... never paid more than 100.00 shipping. Now the wait time can be a bit of a headache... I always plan for 4-6 weeks from order to delivery.

For your own research... https://en.impex-jp.com

Are you just adding up the 6 parts that are in the picture? There are 10 total pieces, not all are in the picture. The total is at the bottom, $423.17.
I put $150 as a conservative number, so that there are no surprises. 10 trim prices, some are long, it could easily be that high.

I paid about $500 shipped for the full set of OEM side trims from impex back in April. So @Goose17 is pretty close to the mark IMO.

Plus I sold my old side trims for $200.
So $300 cost for new trims was no brainer. My paint guy would have charged more than $300 to weld up and smooth the holes.

I do really like the welded up, smooth look though.

Yes... just what was shown... did not realize there were 10 pieces!

I've got all the side moulding trim off my '07 100 I would be willing to sell. Some of the plastic on the trim that holds the clips snapped when pulling off the old trim, but they can still be secured with double sided tape. I would sell all 10 pieces for $200. You will need to get some extra clips too since its impossible to remove the trim without them breaking.

I pulled this old set off since I was doing a factory fresh restoration on my 100. They were just a little sun faded but that's about it. Replaced with an entirely new set.
