Door locks acting up (1 Viewer)

Hey y'all I was hoping you guys could help me figure out whats wrong.

My door locks sometimes will unlock with the remote and sometimes wont. Its weird, today just the back hatch wouldn't unlock so I had to crawl over the rear seats.

This evening when I tried to lock the car, the drivers door lock only partially engaged.

Any idea what could cause the locks to act weird?

What he means is this is common on these trucks, the electric motor that works the locks does not like the heat when they get old and tired.
Tons of info on this, you buy new motors for like a nickel each and DIY.

I just replaced a motor last month. It is a fairly easy job if you are handy. My 2002 LC used the Mabuchi motor with the brass collar FC-280PT-22125. There are 2 different motor though and this could be the wrong one. Do a search on "door actuator" and you will find a link with all of the information you could ever want. Good luck.
