Better ground plane = better transmissions.

Which one? The link you sent just takes you to the main catalog. The website uses frames so you can't just copy and past the URL in the Address Bar. You can right click on the link you are referring to and copy and paste or just tell me what you're referring to. :)
 
Thanks, yeah that what I figured you were talking about. From what I've read it seems like the hood mount would be a better location for ground and signal. My only concern is how easily do CB antenna's break? If i get into bushes/shrubs on the trail can the antenna handle it?
