Door jam courtesy lamp switch location

Is this the correct location for the courtesy light swith on the door jams? If not...where?

That too high. Here is what the door looks like.

For reference The sticker is just below this bump. There is also a bracket spot welded to the A pillar for the switch. It is not mounted flush on the A pillar. Can get a picture of that if needed.
