Work on the Cruiser has been slow but I think I have the suspension pretty much where I want it. I like the where it ended up and I guess that is all that matters. I got a few other things done on it as well.
The brakes on my Cruiser have never been good. When I went to the 37's as you can imagine, they got worse. So, I went to work on them. The lines were all soft so I replaced the Master Cylinder and put hard lines back on the way they should be. Got new calipers and pad. This made a different but they are still not where they need to be. My thinking is that I am asking too much of the calipers and rotors. I am using Tacoma calipers in the front and 4 runner in the rear. My rotors are I believe 11.5 inches.
I would like to go to larger rotors and calipers if possible. I know I would need to create some kind of adapter for the calipers. Does anyone know of any options for larger rotors?
I am open to all other thoughts or suggestions. I just know I need better brakes than what I have.
Thanks in advance.
