Does anyone have contact information for Don Mills? He built my 1977 FJ-40 back in 2000/2001 and then sold it to Kyle LePage. I bought it from Kyle.

I have a specific question for him regarding the body lift.

The Cruiser has a 4" SUA and a 1" body lift. I need to know if the body lift is strictly for extra clearance or if it had something to do with the H55F transmission and split t-case.

I'd like to lose the body lift so that I can run a soft or hard top and still get in the garage.

I emailed him at his firm. The email won't make much sense if it not him.

It was him. He did not install the BL on my 40...so I sent a PM to LePage on Facebook.

He did install the 5 speed right? Did LePage switch tire sizes after he bought it?

Don put in the 5-speed. Had the same 35x12.50s on 15x10 when I got it that Don built it with.

I did notice I could get front fender contact with that setup...so maybe Kyle put the BL on it...1" of square tube...nothing fancy.
