hey guys i am looking at a 91 f250 4x4 7.3 non turbo diesel over 300 K kms new injection pump is this motor on its last legs or do these things go on and on like toyota diesels ? is this 7.3 a dog or is it ok ? thanks i know this is not toyota related but maybe some one here can steer me in the right direction . kevin

i would strongly recomment the 95-96 unit. the non-turbo is a dog. i have had great results with the 2 above units i have had. great fuel economy and lots of power...
i knew a friend of mine that had a 90?? 7.3 non-turbo that had 600,000 on it and it was still running fine when he sold it. a real dog but he liked it...

Someone once said a naturally aspirated diesel is only 1/2 an engine. I tend to agree!

Hey, I liked my '82 BJ60 before it was turbo'd too. Now that it's turbo'd I like it more!!
