Think I found my bitch and stud -- at first i was gunna get a chocolate lab but fell in love with the gray ones -- some have said to just get from the pound/town kennel but i'd rather know the history of the parents and back

Breeder is a nice lady from Arizona: Silver Valley Kennels

    Mom is Ariel:

    Dad is Sir Chocolate Bud:

I have never seen or heard of a gray Lab - any more info? Are they inbred? Here we have chocolate Labs but they have a lot of problems due to inbreeding. My lab is black - a safe bet...

Man, that's a cute puppy. It's got nothing on a chow chow puppy, but that is a cool looking pup.

I've always wanted a choc lab.

That's what we call a puppy farm.

How can they quote cost + shipping? Don't the owners want to select their pup?

I would put colour below health and pedigree on my shopping list - that would probably rule them out for me.

A puppy farm is not a breeder.

Puppy farms sell to the neighborhood store.

Man, I think you just found our dog. My wife loves the look of Weimareners, but we spent some time with some and found out they kinda have Dalmatian temperment.

    Thanks!

Inbreeding has a fashionable name now. Line-breeding. From what I have heard, these dogs (Silver labs) are "Line Bred" like mad.
