    having a rear drive shaft re-tubed and a cv added(one i already have)and balanced $170.
tube will be thicker walled and O.D. will be 2 1/2"
    seemed resonable to me.
    any thoughts.

    Jim,

    i called around

and RMDL was the only guy who said that the first ting he does is straighten the tube.
nobody else said anything about that.

saw that thread, i'll definitly say something about that.

don't think i need the cardon(cv) on the rear, but i'm gonna have him do it anyways.

    just to be  haha

i decided not to put the cardon in

i'm gonna save it for when i SOA my 40

so i'm just goin bigger dia. and thicker tube in the rear.
and having a frt shaft shortened and re-tubed.

i ended up with a vib after breaking my pinion and dropping the rear shaft in moab.

dont know if it was the used 3rd i borrowed or the shaft.

will be putting in thenew 4.88's this weekend and the new drive shafts.

tinker, was that you pulled over south bound I25 at happy canyon the other mornin?
tan 60, heck, i thought it was ME!

also saw a nice red 60 dropping of wilcox, head'n down to paplo's mexican resturant...........

you never know what you get...

    when borrowing a used part.

it got me back home, thats all that counts.

did you get it re-built, or are you swapping the front to rear???
