Does the 2019 Ranger look just like a Hilux? (1 Viewer)

Happened to see a "new" ( to the US) Ford ranger today and it looks like a Toyota Hilux.

Honestly, all the ROW pickups look similar...maybe even to a more egregious extent than crossovers.

I would do a diesel manual 4x4 if they offered that. ....They won't ...I know that but I would buy it.

Driver error was the Kraut tourist in Namibia who looked the wrong way to check traffic and pulled out and tagged me going 35mph right in the passenger rear qtr panel. Rolled at least 1.5 times. And Old Fart, at least when I roll, I do it right. None of this soft flop baloney you pull every few wheeling weekends.

hopes aren't high but they did just announce a new diesel in the Transit and it's the sequentially turbocharged 2.0-liter diesel inline-four from the overseas Ranger Raptor
