Does HDJ81 do not have the CEL light on the dash? (1 Viewer)

I realized that I never saw the CEL light for my HDJ81V. May I have the clarification from the forum?

No CEL. Your HDJ81 has purely mechanical engine management system. No ECU for the engine.

Your 81 won't have that port, and had no ECU.



Diagnostics on a diesel.

Engine starts. Good to go.
Engine doesn't start. It's probably not getting fuel.

I have the question! Why my 80 diesel has the port, but no ECU light! Does Anyone know how to use it?

I stand corrected.
Good chance that port is part of a universal wiring harness.

I'm confident in saying it will diagnose nothing.
