Does anyone know who made these cargo boxes? I’ve seen them in pictures of 60s from the ‘90s to early 2000s but I can’t find any information about them.

Those (or a version of those) used to be in the Man A Fre catalog years ago, like 20 years ago. Thought those boxes were a really cool idea, then they discontinued from MAF. They were still available somewhere, no idea where.

I have one of those. Got it from specter a looong time ago. The brand is lido, I’ll snap a picture later and post it up

cool little story around that...I actually talked with Marv and it used to be in his wife's 60. I'm stuck in front of the computer...will post pic afterwork time.

I think I have a couple of 20 year old Man-A-Fre catalogs, I'll have to find it, flip through it and post a photo.

Found an old classifieds ad for one with some pics of the box and product info

And lastly found this info on a CJ forum post as a result of a google search:

"I talked to the manufacturer about a year ago. They are still in business, but they are no longer are in the business of storage boxes for any vehicles. They also don't have NOS boxes left. (they checked for me) I have purchased a set of clean used weather guard aluminum pork chop boxes that I have plans to modify that should work well. You could look into those for your application."
