I don't get all the hate; I think they look cool too. They wouldn't work for me (or anyone else who takes their truck into brush, timber, etc), but not everyone uses their 80 the same way. If you're looking for a unique look, and don't risk trail damage because of your particular use/application, I'd say go for it!
