Has anybody seen or used a steering box and pump from a 99' dodge half ton truck in there FJ40? I know everyone likes the saginaw but I don't have one. I have access to a dodge and the price is right (free).

As long as it mounts inside the frame( and it does ) I do not see why it would not work....
I was looking at the steering gear on my '96 one ton dodge and thinking the same thing....

Thanks Poser I am doing some trading for the PS and a rear back seat so the kids can ride.
From what I understand the Dodge steering boxes of that vintage were not the most robust items in the world. I know three very unhappy dodge owners due to the sector shaft leaking within 50 K
