One more question, do the drawers block the 12v outlet?

On mine its a 110v ac outlet that can't handle much load and isn't good for much beyond charging a phone. I think it may partially block it, but its still usable. Thats just my recollection. I'll update here when I get home and can confirm.

have you incorporated any power to the box? I have a dometic fridge, the plb40 power station, but want to be able to power the fridge by the vehicle while on the go.

I'm looking at mounting a 105AH AGM in front of the drawers, with a DC-DC charger and a fuse block. Will install a 12v plug in the wing top on the slider side for the fridge. Also planning to add a gang of plugs in the face of the wing with USB-C, volt meter, USB-A, 12v etc. all run off the setup mounted to the rear face (vehicle forward behind the 2nd row) of the drawers. Will also wire and mount the HAM radio there as well. Thats all a work in progress hopefully before Cruise Moab.

I think I can fit this battery between the drawers and the 2nd row. If not this one, then a s similar form factor even if I have to go down to 40-50ah.

I like the idea of that........i wonder if a small lithium batter could fit in the wings and have everything contained in order to maximize storage. Do you have threads saved on the subject?

I just picked up a 2013 lx570 and want to purchase a rear drawer system. The dobinson's seem to be the best price 1300.00 (they are local, so no shipping charges), but I can't seem to find any recent reviews on them. Any owners out there willing to share thoughts? Any of off the shelf options other than frontrunner, arb, trekboxx, perhaps the REEF drawers.....for the 200 series.
Don't forget to PM me for the Mud member discount!! I can set you up if you choose to go this route.

Reading thru the other comments, the drawers themselves are the same between the 60/80/100/200 just with different wings. You also don't have to get the wings if you want to use the sides for storage or something else, and that cuts about $200 off the price too.

I’ve got the Dobinsons drawers in my 200. Really like them. I’ve got the ARB drawers in my 100 series and don’t think the difference in price is worth it. Especially if you can go down to Doral and pick them up. Only reason to go ARB would be if you want to configure the drawer setup different. Dobinsons come as 1 piece with fridge slide on driver side. No other configuration options. Install takes a few hours but most of it is just figuring everything out. I think that’s pretty standard for any drawer system.
Where in Doral can you pick them up?

When you checkout on my site, it gives you an option to pick them up, and then you just go when you can and grab them. They have to be ordered online, there's no store there.

For those with dobinson's drawers in your 200s, do you guys have any rattling from your setup? We have these installed in my dads 200, and there is a consistent rattle that we cannot isolate. Perfectly quiet in every other aspect. This is on the drivers side towards the front of the cargo area with drawers loaded or unloaded.

Mine don't rattle. I've been very happy with them for the past year.

Those little rubber bump stops can be installed backwards where they're not actually adding cushioning like they're supposed to. I'd slide the slide forward and take a look inside to see if they're installed the right way and contacting properly when closed. The curved part of them faces the front of the vehicle.

Not sure on the Dobinsons but you can fit 200Ah of battery under the DS ARB wing if you DIY using raw cells. Including space for the AC inlet grill.

I can't speak for the Dobinsons, but on the ARB there is not a lot of space between the 2nd row seats and the front of the drawers. I suppose you can push the seats all the way forward.

I also think a lead acid battery in the passenger space is a bad idea.

Checked that, it’s not a matter of tension on the back of the drawers. It’s somewhere else.

I ended up putting a 100ah lithium in the driver side wing of the dobinsons drawer. Fits well and powers everything. I located the Redarc BCDC, BlueSea fuse block, 1000 watt inverter and Icom 5100 are mounted on the forward face of the drawers. It all came together very nicely.

Photos please :)

How much space do you have between the front of the drawers and the seat back with the seats all the way back? On the ARB drawers it's only about 3" or so. Looks like the Dobinson's are not quite as deep. That inverter wouldn't fit on the ARB unless you moved the seat forward a notch or two. I mounted a Victron Orion DC-DC charger there and needed to move the seat forward a tad.

The Dobinsons drawers are 42" wide by 40" deep (front to back), if that helps.

200 series Drawers measure 990 x 1070 x 255mm total external, 285mm from bottom mounting ribs to top of drawers, 935 x 460 x 195mm each internal drawer dimension.
