First off do you know that shocks control the load, springs carry the load. So if your dragging a** all over town you may need some new spring.

If you put numbers next to the parts ( washers & rubbers) then it would be much easier to explain what order they go in. ;)

thanks brodsky, all.
i will study the diagram. APPRECIATE IT.
i’m posting pics tonight in the meantime.
seems like there are two bushings and one has a bit of a shoulder on the ID? wasn’t sure where to go with the two different bushings.

anyone able to advise on the bottom assembly?

the rubber bushings have an orientation and i see three washers and the two clamps. looks like one clamp will let you bury the head of the bolt - if you have the thread depth to do this i suppose.

anyone been there done that with the lower assembly?

THANKS

on the fronts anyone mind helping me out with the order on these? 7 washers and 4 bushings. are there instructions for these? <edit: @brodsky was kind enough to order this for me in his drawing. i’ll put it together tomorrow and post a pic.>

The two washers on the bottom of your picture are for the top of the rear shock. The top one should go on the inside on the bottom

There seem to be one washer missing in this picture. The ones on the right are a set.

thanks. looks like the packaging may or may not need some tweaking.
that makes sense. so bottom two washers go with the stuff that came in the first batch of parts i posted? and the single washer is the new washer in the install photo.
i guess i will be removing a shock so i can look in it or i can check the lower mount but do the two bushings go in fat side first from opposite sides so they face each other with the chamfered ends facing out?

The fronts go in exactly the same order as stock or whatever you take off (assuming it was put together right).

The rear 2 lower halves, match up the ID size with the stud on your vehicle, should be the bigger side. Flat washer goes before the nut, just like OE.

man. THANKS for that. i will have to check tonight to see if i have that washer.

looks like for the punched washers that touch each other you want the washer with the smaller ID on the top and the larger ID on the bottom.
and actually if i am seeing it correctly you want the not punched washer with the larger ID at the shock. smaller ID at the mount/bolt.
