Got a link to the kit?I have the Powerbrake setup on my 2013. It is night and day compared to stock.

What yearr is your truck? That's an important note as 2016+ came with bigger front brakes. Been running 80k on stock pads and rotors, a few cross country trips to CO and off-roading, no complaints here.
Just the front?Home - Powerbrake USA
Our World Championship-winning R-Line off-road race brake systems have proven themselves over more than a decade in race conditions ranging from the scorchingpowerbrake.us
Yeah I don’t have any issues with the stock breaks but granted I have the bigger front rotors as well.
There is a little bit of a dead zone before the breaks bite which took some getting used to. But once they engage the stopping power is more than adequate for me.
Hard to justify $3,000+ for a brake upgrade unless you are doing some serious hauling or towing imo.

Can the initial bite being alleviated a little bit with SS lines?
Hawk LTS and Z36 seems to get mentioned here a lot.Yes. Pads can have a larger impact however. Some pad materials just don't bite as hard and need more heat.
I recommend Hawk LTS pads. Strong initial bite and great modulation, even when cold. Only gets better and stronger with heat inspiring confidence with heavy loads. Only trade-off is some squeaking in colder weather.
Do you have 18inch wheels?2018.
Previous owner put the Wilwood Aero6 and Aero4 on there.
Few reasons I want to take it off:
1. Even with a 1" spacer it's extremely tight in the rear with OEM wheels. I could try 1.25" spacer but I honestly don't care for spacers.
2. It's 7x the cost of OEM brakes. 75 OEM rotor vs. 525 for one front rotor....is there 7x the performance haha.
3. I live in flatonia (texas) and mountain passes are a 1-2x a year event..
4. Is there even a need on the 2016+ trucks

Yup. The heritage ones with 60mm offset.Do you have 18inch wheels?
I’d be interested if you’re looking to get rid of them.Yup. The heritage ones with 60mm offset.
The issue is a combination of the wilwood being wider calipers in the rear and the OEM wheels having a massive lip near the spokes.
The aero4 needs 16.76 + 0.08” of clearance. The wheels are 16.25” at the smallest circumference.
Thus the 1” spacer to barely clear that.

Wilwood brakesWheels or wilwood?
Let me take it off once OEM brakes get here (ordered it on the 25% off sale), clean everything, make a part list of what I have and what you might need (like the pins/shims).Wilwood brakes
Awesome, I’ll shoot you a DM!Let me take it off once OEM brakes get here (ordered it on the 25% off sale), clean everything, make a part list of what I have and what you might need (like the pins/shims).
Wilwood is good about providing a thorough part list and replacement parts.
