Holycrap Phil????? I've never had my cruiser over 80mph. EVER! I can't imagine ever pushing her to 90?!?!?!?!?

With enough caster you should be able to drive at freeway speeds with one finger and take pictures:rolleyes:

Your D light is out, don't you want the D?

i call BS on that pic.. no way you got a cruiser to 90
Your D light is out, don't you want the D?

It had been out for a while so when I pulled my ABS bulb I replaced it and I hated it. It has since been removed...I dont need no stink'n D light.

Mine is out too, I don't want the D.

Most 80 series cant go that fast because the front driveline vibs are too much to handle:flipoff2:where Im smooth as silk:moon:

:worms:

Mine will do 90's no problem. That said, MPG probably approaches zero since i haven't regeared yet.

To OP - if you got caster bushings in a kit, try them.

Personally I used Landtanks plates to correct for 4" lift, I spent alot of time making mine drive as it did with factory springs, like his best - we've done the 'diff plate manufacturers' thing so decent info already about that.

If you have front spacers over the springs, then yes - plates aren't that much $$$ & when done you should be quite happy with improvement over no correction.

If you plan to use it on the freeway, I'd really get on it - if it's more a ranch vehicle the need for neutral steering is obviously less

2-3" is OME spring range, and they correct caster - and if the people who say "drives fine without" installed the bushings, they might have a "epiphany moment".

I drove for a long time on OMe Heavies w/o correction, it was "meh" - but When I finally installed the bushings it was a "why didn't I do it months ago!!!" moment.

I have the Ironman4x4 adjustable ones in hand...the blues ones that are not very well liked. This will be my daily driver soon, so around town, freeway, and off-road.

Ok had it on the freeway a couple of time as it is a bit darty/squirrely. Too much for any kind of long distance drives.
