I torqued mine and bent it up taking it off while working on my rebuild. I see a few threads on re calibrating my carb in order to compensate, but wondering if I should buy a used one or just plug the holes.

Any help is appreciated.

While the tailpipe sniffer test might pass if the air injection is diverted straight into the exhaust stream, (high speed mode) the visual inspection would fail if the technician isn't your friend.
By the book, if any piece of emissions equipment has been tampered with or is missing, that constitutes a FAIL regardless if the tail pipe exhaust passes the test.
