What is the procedure for removing the dizzy? Do I need to be at TDC before removal? Or would placing match marks be sufficient? I can't seam to locate my FSM to reference the removal procedure.

Matchmarks are fine, as long as you are sure nobody is gonna disturb the engine while the dizzy is out.
Otherwise, pull the cap, roll it to TDC, verify rotor is pointing at #1 post, then yank it out.
