The rtt load bars are designed to install onto most roof top tents, these would remain attached to the tent, they mount to the rack with the factory bolts on the side, this allows quick removal and installation of the tent without fumbling with bolts on the underside of the tent.
They also raise the tent about 1" off the rack which is great for hard shell tents. These will come with a black textured powder coat.
